                            Penguins

Penguins are warm blooded, have feathers and lay eggs that is what makes a bird a bird. Some birds can't fly just like this little penguin and ostriches.

The life cycle of a penguin. First the egg is laid and gets taken in terns to look after while the other adult penguin goes out into the ocean to fish for the family. Then finally the egg hatches to reveal a baby penguin. For months the baby penguin depends on its mum and dad for food to eat. After months it finally grows its waterproof feathers. After a few years have past the adult penguin will start its life cycle again as a fully grown penguin.

Finally the penguin is an adult and can diffend itself in the big wide world it can also fish in the deep blue sea and protect it's own family.Saddly after their life span they die but thankfully because of other penguins there are lots of  baby penguins that will carry on in the life cycle.

Facts.
In the harsh winter penguins huddle together to keep warm
The adults have a warm pouch that they keep the egg in to keep it warm and out of harms way.
